Lov.li is an online community art market. Built this Web 2.0 social network out from conception to launch in December 2006 using only free, open source software. Incorporated extensive feedback from art and crafts communities into design. With 850 sellers already, the site has been growing very quickly. lov.li incorporates many new Web technologies such as allowing users to blog, tag, comment, create and administer groups, and to purchase items from each other.

MidwifeInfo Launched January 2002

The largest independent site dedicated to midwifery on the internet. Created a site based on the Joomla! Content Management System to allow the site’s contributors to easily add content and blog entries. Created a midwifery directory with more then 5000 midwives information.


Print Arts Northwest,
launched January 2002, is a home to 150 of the Northwest’s best printmakers. This site showcases the work of the artists and provides a simple content management system for the gallery management to add artists, events and information.

Ran development at Nameboy.com, a startup focused on tools to generate available domain and screen names using computation linguistics. Managed entire product life cycle from prototyping to implementation and support. Hired and managed production team. Developed and drove requirements and development schedules for new products. Represented Nameboy as lead technical contact for all of our partnerships. Developed and deployed web and email advertising campaigns. Managed vendors and online marketing budget. Worked with largest national ISP to achieve design win and implement our screen name suggestion engine.

Built the first web site for the Oregon College of Art and Craft, after they changed their identity from ORegon School of Arts and Crafts. This site has since been replaced - here is a screenshot of the original site (Optimized for 640×480!)

MarchFirst

Coded database-driven interactive Web sites for large B2C accounts. Interfaced with team and client to create automobile ‘Build and Price’ customization tool, representing complex product combinations in database and creating a user-friendly GUI. Supervised internal and external designers and programmers.

Open Spaces Magazine is a quarterly magazine devoted to environmental and political issues affecting the Pacific Northwest. I designed and built their site, with online subscription and back issue ordering, as well as an article search feature.
